VA KPI scorecard: how to use it
A weekly page of numbers for a virtual assistant. Keep the rows you will actually read. Delete the rest.
Open va-kpi-scorecard.csv in Google Sheets or Excel. Type the week-ending date once. Type a target and, at the end of the week, the actual. The on-target column fills in when both cells are numbers.
What each row is for
| Row | On target when |
|---|---|
| Tasks finished by the time you agreed | The actual is at least the target. Higher is better. |
| Tasks sent back to be done again | The actual is at or under the target. Lower is better. The formula already treats it that way. |
| Questions answered within the time you set | Count the ones that met the time you named. Higher is better. |
| Scorecard numbers in before the meeting | How many weeks, or how many numbers, arrived on time. You pick the unit and keep it. |
| To-dos closed by the date you set | Higher is better. |
| Rocks still on track | How many of the assistant's own rocks are on track. Not someone else's rocks. |
How to keep it short
If you will not look at a row, delete it and fix the summary formulas so they cover the rows you kept. A target you change every week is not a target. Change it when the work changes.
The longer article on which numbers are worth assigning is virtual assistant KPIs and scorecard measurables. For a 90-day priority rather than a weekly number, see rocks for an executive assistant.
Most full-time roles are $1,800 a month. The hire is in the Philippines, can start in 14 days, and begins with a 1-week trial: a replacement or a refund. Get matched with your hire.
