Mobile App Developer (React Native or Flutter) (Remote)
About the role
We are hiring a remote Mobile App Developer (React Native or Flutter) to build and ship our iOS and Android apps from one cross-platform codebase.
You will report to the founder.
What you will do
- Build new screens and features in React Native or Flutter
- Integrate APIs, push notifications, and in-app purchases
- Manage releases to the App Store and Google Play
- Fix crashes and performance issues reported by users
- Write unit and integration tests
What success looks like in the first 90 days
- A regular release schedule for both stores
- Crash reports reviewed and the top issues fixed
- Every release tested on real iOS and Android devices
Tools you will use
- React Native or Flutter
- TypeScript or Dart
- Xcode and Android Studio
- Firebase
- Sentry or Crashlytics
What we are looking for
- Three or more years building mobile apps
- At least one app shipped to both the App Store and Google Play
- Experience with app store review and release processes
- Writes tests and tracks crashes after release
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours a week, remote. Working hours overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
