How the calculator works
- Time value = your hourly value × hours delegated a week × 52 ÷ 12.
- Net monthly return = time value minus our flat monthly price.
- Break-even = the hours a week of your time that cover the monthly price.
- Local hire comparison = the monthly cost you enter minus our flat monthly price.
It counts only the hours you take off your own plate. A full-time hire works 40 hours a week, so any hours you do not delegate from yourself are extra capacity. Questions
How does the VA ROI calculator work?
It multiplies your hourly value by the hours a week you would delegate (52 weeks spread over 12 months) to get the monthly value of that time, then compares it with our flat monthly price. If you enter a local hire's monthly cost, it shows the difference too.
What should I enter as my hourly value?
Use what an hour of your time earns the business, for example your billing rate, or revenue divided by the hours you work. The calculator uses only the numbers you enter.
Why is the price $1,800 or $2,500?
Those are our flat monthly prices for a full-time hire: $1,800 a month for most roles, and from $2,500 a month for software developers and AI Implementation Specialists. The calculator uses $2,500 for those roles.
Why is the delegated time capped at 40 hours a week?
A Rekruuto hire works full time, 40 hours a week. If you delegate fewer hours of your own time, the rest of the week is extra capacity your hire can spend on other work.
