Executive Assistant Performance Review Template

Score the quarter on six areas, with a weight, a 1-to-5 mark, and one line of evidence, so the review is about the work and not a vague impression.

What's inside

  • A scorecard (CSV) for Google Sheets or Excel: six areas, weights, scores, and a weighted total that calculates on its own.
  • A flag when a must-have area scores below 3.
  • A short guide with what a 1, a 3, and a 5 look like, and how to turn the sheet into next quarter's rocks.

Who it is for

Founders and operators who have an executive assistant and want the quarterly review to use the same areas every time, with an example next to each score.

How to use it

  1. Before the meeting, set the weights. A 3 is a must-have for this quarter. Leave the weights alone once the review starts.
  2. Score each area from 1 to 5 using the anchors in the guide, and write one line of evidence.
  3. Ask the assistant to fill a copy of the same sheet before you meet, so you can see where you disagree.
  4. Talk about any area where the two scores differ by two points or more. That gap is the conversation.
  5. Turn one low score into a rock or a to-do for the next quarter. Do not leave it as a feeling.
  6. Keep the sheet. Next quarter, start from it instead of a blank page.
