React Developer (Remote)
About the role
We are hiring a remote React Developer to build fast, accessible interfaces in React and keep the front end easy to change.
You will report to the founder.
What you will do
- Build new screens and components in React and TypeScript
- Turn Figma designs into responsive, accessible pages
- Manage data fetching, caching, and state
- Write component and end-to-end tests
- Improve Core Web Vitals and bundle size
What success looks like in the first 90 days
- New screens shipped to production from design to release
- Core Web Vitals tracked and improving on key pages
- Reusable components documented in one place
Tools you will use
- React and TypeScript
- Next.js or Vite
- Tailwind CSS or CSS modules
- Jest, Vitest, or Playwright
- Figma
What we are looking for
- Three or more years building production React applications
- Strong TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Working knowledge of accessibility basics such as semantic markup and keyboard navigation
- Experience turning designs into pixel-accurate, responsive layouts
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours a week, remote. Working hours overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
