Shopify Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring a remote Shopify Developer to keep the store fast, stable, and improving, and ship changes without breaking checkout.

You will report to the founder.

What you will do

  • Build and edit theme sections in Liquid
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot apps
  • Fix bugs and improve page speed
  • Build landing pages and product page layouts
  • Run QA before and after every release

What success looks like in the first 90 days

  • Store issues fixed within the agreed response time
  • Every change tested on a staging theme first
  • A changelog the team can read

Tools you will use

  • Shopify and Liquid
  • GitHub
  • Chrome DevTools
  • Google Tag Manager

What we are looking for

  • Three or more years building on Shopify
  • Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
  • Experience with theme version control and staging
  • Careful with changes that touch checkout and payments

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours a week, remote. Working hours overlap with U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
