Business process outsourcing (BPO)
Business process outsourcing (BPO) is contracting a whole business function, such as customer support, claims processing, or back-office data work, to an outside provider. The provider hires, trains, and supervises the staff and usually charges per seat, per hour, or per transaction. You manage the contract and results, not the people.

What it means in practice
The Philippines is one of the world's best-known BPO markets, built on call centers and back-office work for U.S., Australian, and European companies. That industry is one reason the country has a deep pool of professionals who are used to working with Western clients and on Western hours.
BPO suits high-volume, well-defined processes where you want a vendor to run the floor. The trade-off is control: agents often serve several clients, and you work through account managers rather than directly with the people doing the work.
If you want one person who learns your business and works only for you, a dedicated full-time hire is the better fit. That is the Rekruuto model: one vetted professional from the Philippines, working your hours, managed by you.
