Onboarding

Onboarding is the process of bringing a new hire up to speed: setting up accounts and access, explaining the business, training on tools and processes, and agreeing on goals and check-ins. Good onboarding shortens the time to full productivity and gives a remote hire the best start.

What it means in practice

For a remote hire, plan the first week in detail: access to email, chat, and core tools on day one, two or three starter tasks with clear SOPs, and a daily check-in. Add responsibilities as each one is done well.

With Rekruuto, hiring and onboarding take 14 days, and the first week of work is a trial. A focused onboarding plan lets you judge the fit on real work during that week.

Our free onboarding masterclass walks through the first weeks step by step.
