Contract-to-hire

Contract-to-hire is an arrangement where a worker starts on a fixed-term contract and the company can convert them to a permanent employee at the end. It lets both sides test the fit before committing. Conversion often carries a fee when a staffing agency supplied the worker.

What it means in practice

The goal is to reduce hiring risk, but contract periods of three to six months are a long time to find out a hire is wrong, and the contract terms can make an early exit awkward on both sides.

Rekruuto takes a shorter route to the same goal. Every full-time placement starts with a 1-week trial. If the fit is wrong, we find a replacement or refund your money, so you learn quickly without a long contract.

There is no long-term contract after the trial either: you can pause or cancel with 2 weeks' notice.
