Replacement guarantee
A replacement guarantee is a staffing provider's promise to find a new candidate at no extra cost if a placed hire does not work out within a set period. Terms vary on how long the guarantee lasts, how fast a replacement arrives, and whether a refund is available instead.

What it means in practice
Read the terms closely. Some guarantees only apply if you pay a large placement fee up front, some require you to prove the hire failed, and some cover only one replacement.
Rekruuto's terms are simple: every full-time hire starts with a 1-week trial, and if the fit is wrong, we find a replacement or refund your money. After the trial there is no long-term contract; you can pause or cancel with 2 weeks' notice.

Questions to ask about any guarantee
- How long does the guarantee last, and when does the clock start?
- What do you have to show to use it, and who decides whether the hire did not work out?
- How quickly will a replacement start, and do you pay anything while you wait?
- Is a refund available instead of a replacement, and for how much?
- How many replacements does it cover, and does it require a large fee up front?
